Dew Tour’s iconic Streetstyle event gets an exciting upgrade for 2023, expanding by doubling in size and becoming known more appropriately as Super Streetstyle. Featuring four features with diverse elements – rails, poles, quarterpipe, and multiple transfers – and two rounds of jam sessions to narrow competitors down to three competitors for the finals competition, Dew Tour’s Super Streetstyle promises a thrill ride of its own.
Dew Tour unites the best snowboarders and skiers from around the globe to compete in the superpipe, street style, moguls, moguls slopestyle, aerials, slopestyle, and much more. Admission for spectators to this event is FREE, with multiple great viewing locations around the course allowing spectators to watch from various viewpoints; don’t miss Mix Master Mike of Beastie Boys providing live music on Saturday night!
The 2023 Winter Dew Tour, presented by MTN DEW, kicked off under ideal bluebird conditions, with high-spirited fans cheering the final competitions of Men’s Ski Superpipe and Women’s Snowboard Superpipe events, as well as its signature Streetstyle events – Men’s Ski Super Streetstyle and Women’s Snowboard Super Streetstyle events. Young Dew Tour fans also made sure their carts were full of goodies and prizes from sponsor activation booths, including Mountain Dew, Pacifico Roxy US Air Force Reserve Albertsons Circle K Sun Bum Nixon Boarding for Breast Cancer, and many more.
This year, Streetstyle received an exciting upgrade, with its course doubling in size and more technical layout. This more extensive course will accommodate more athletes competing while providing fans and judges with an improved viewing experience. Two rounds of heated jam sessions will then narrow down the field before culminating with three-athlete finals competitions.
Dew Tour Experience, located adjacent to the competition venue in Center Village, provides free festival-style activations for spectators at Dew Tour. Activities available to them include sponsor village activations, food & beverage offerings, pro athlete meet & greets, poster signings, community ride day events, as well as more! It provides families with a beautiful way to experience the Dew Tour while learning more about athletes, sponsors, and the culture of action sports.
Copper’s base area in Center Village allows spectators to access Superpipe and Streetstyle events through Copper easily. Parking at this event is free, while shuttle services run continuously during the event to take spectators back to their cars if needed.

The Winter Dew Tour is an elite skiing and snowboard competition featuring world-class athletes. This year’s competition will take place from February 24th to 26th at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado and marks the first time it will include slopestyle competition as well as its traditional halfpipe and streetstyle events. Additionally, the U.S. Air Force presents Superpipe High Air and Best Trick Jam as an added feature at this year’s Dew Tour event.
The Dew Tour strives to bring freestyle skiing and snowboarding to a broader audience while simultaneously supporting athletes and communities alike. Along with competitions, this festival will host various fan-oriented events as well.
One of the highlight events will be Saturday afternoon’s Snowboard Superpipe Final. Two residents from Summit County – Steamboat Springs’ Taylor Gold will vie to defend his second-place finish from last season, while Frisco resident Siddhartha Ullah makes their debut appearance.
Visitors to the Dew Tour Experience at Center Village will have various viewing spots from which to witness the action – Eagles Landing at the base of the Superpipe and Eagles Landing near Eagles Landing will provide excellent vantage points, while sponsor villages, pro athlete signings, giveaways, and award shows will round off this unique event experience.
Winter Dew Tour will host several events in Des Moines beyond just competitions, with sponsors like Mountain Dew pledging millions to infrastructure improvements across Des Moines.
Lauridsen Skatepark will debut during this event, providing a significant boost for skateboarding culture in Des Moines and anticipated to generate at least $4 Million in economic impact, according to Catch Des Moines President and CEO Tim Klinglebusch.

Athletic competition saw athletes lift high and land hard during a jam session, drawing cheers and applause from spectators. 14-year-old Patti Zhou from Boulder, Colo., was featured prominently, blazing down the course in her rainbow helmet,, thanking coaches, younger sister, friends, and fans for supporting her to win the most points; Denver resident Egan Wint showed up with her pink cast wearing smooth technical rails and airs that earned second place; with Papa John’s Flip It Award winner Edouard Therriault from Canada who performed his impressive Wallride Rodeo 540 performance!
The Streetstyle event showcases an exciting selection of skiing and snowboarding moves that require finesse, commitment to speed, and the ability to link tricks in an aggressive, fast-paced manner. Athletes compete in two rounds of intense jam sessions before moving forward to a three-athlete final competition later that evening; spectators are welcome to cheer for their favorites from either near the pipe itself or from a VIP Lounge located near its base.
The 2023 Winter Dew Tour hosted more than 60 of the best skiers and snowboarders from around the globe for a progressive weekend of Superpipe and Streetstyle competition at Copper Mountain on February 24-26, 2023. Athletes battled for top spots and the highest scores in each category, giving memorable performances for the crowds. Taylor Gold (USA) won the Men’s event; Marion Balsamo finished second; Skye Clark (CAN) placed third; Shonny Charbonneau from Canada won the Papa John’s Flip It Award with her stunning front flip performance, earning her a cash prize for $2,500!
Superstreetstyle was rebranded from the Dew Tour Streetstyle competition to become more technical, opening up to more athletes and providing an improved spectator experience. Four distinct elements, such as rails and poles, a quarterpipe, multiple transfers, and jam sessions, helped narrow down the field to three athletes who competed in two runs combined on Saturday and Sunday evenings on a Superstreetstyle course under lights.
All bags and persons entering venues will be subject to security searches for their own protection, with firearms, drones, tripods, flash equipment, and commercial photography without an official media credential prohibited from onsite events. ADA viewing areas are available at each venue for park and pipe events.
