Bigg Boss is a reality television show in which 17 contestants live together in isolation for 108 days before competing against one another and winning money through tasks before eventually being evicted via public vote each week.

Viewers can cast their vote through the Disney+ Hotstar app during voting time only. Online voting will not be available during other times.


Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5 features many social media influencers and actors as contestants, and Asianet airs it. Mohanlal is hosting Bigg Boss this season.

He, known for producing entertaining yet controversial videos online and making them viral among his millions of subscribers, is another Malayalam Bigg Boss contestant known for his signature brand of humor and his comment regarding communism that got plenty of press attention from fans and viewers alike.

Reneesha Rahman is an established name among Malayalam movie audiences and boasts an avid following on social media. She made several movies with Mammootty in 2021, including the political drama film ‘One’; in addition, she runs her clothing brand and boasts an active Instagram account in which she regularly shares images featuring herself in glamorous and hot looks.

Shobha Vishwanath, an esteemed Malayalam businesswoman and entrepreneur, has also become one of the more well-known faces in Malayalam celebrity culture. A frequent participant in reality shows and an accomplished actress in her own right, her performance as part of a 2021 comedy-drama film entitled Thinkalazhcha Nichayam earned her much acclaim and won her many accolades from fans and peers alike.

Anjuz Rosh, a Malayalam actress, Video Jockey (VJ), dancer, and fitness trainer who boasts over 88,000 Instagram followers, is another contestant in this Malayalam edition of Bigg Boss. Her popularity on social media extends far beyond that, boasting an audience of 89,000+ on Instagram alone! Known for modeling and fitness training roles as well as social media stardom, Anjuz frequently posts sultry pictures to her over 80 K followers on her Instagram page, where she posts pictures in provocative poses to her 80K+ followers. Fitness trainer Anjuz Rosh has amassed an enormous following in this edition of Bigg Boss!


Mohanlal hosts the Malayalam version of Bigg Boss, produced and broadcast on Asianet by Endemol Shine India and featuring 18 contestants competing for a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, ranging from social media influencers to ordinary people. This season has witnessed plenty of drama, with contestants competing over money, food, and power and breaking out into fights in the house itself, and on July 2, 2023, we will learn who the winner will be!

Bigg Boss Malayalam house, located in Chennai’s EVP Film City, features a spacious living room, kitchen, storage space, four bedrooms, and a smoking area. Contestants may bring personal belongings into the house, but electronic devices such as mobile phones or computers are strictly forbidden. They must complete daily tasks before facing weekly evictions to reach the finale; housemates are expected to maintain decorum during all eviction episodes of the Bigg Boss Malayalam show and refrain from any personal attacks during its duration.


Rinosh appears to be the frontrunner to win Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5, according to early voting results for Season 5. His fan base has grown immensely throughout his time on the show, and his performance in the house has been consistent, giving him a solid edge against competitors Junaiz and Gopika, who could vie with Rinosh for supremacy in this season of the competition.

Public voters can cast their vote using the Disney+ Hotstar application available for Android and iOS devices. Voting takes place from Monday to Friday, with each person receiving 50 votes, which can be distributed among multiple contestants or used solely to select one contestant.

To cast your vote, first sign into the Disney+ app with your Disney account. When in, navigate to the Bigg Boss Malayalam page and click the “Vote Now” button; daily voting timeframe from 10:30 PM through Friday 11:59 PM or multiple contestant daily votes from Wednesday through Friday will also be possible with this feature.
