Motionless in White and In This Moment Headline The Dark Horizon Tour

Hard rock titans Motionless in White and Grammy-nominated band In This Moment have joined forces to co-headline The Dark Horizon Tour alongside Fit For A King and From Ashes To New. It began on July 8 in Uncasville, Connecticut, and wrapped up at MVP Arena in Albany, New York, on August 19th, respectively.

With merchandise tables full and the stage ready, fans were excited for this sold-out concert. Many began lining up hours in advance – no doubt this show would provide an unforgettable musical/visual experience, with co-headliners Motionless In White, In This Moment Fit For a King and From Ashes To New performing alongside co-headliner From Ashes To New. It truly made for a night to remember!

In This Moment was the first band to take to the stage, opening their set with “Sign of Life” and immediately captivating the crowd with Maria Bank’s stunning vocals and alluring outfits that kept people dancing along to every note of her set. When she finished with “Whore”, many in attendance began shouting their name to receive another encore performance.

While In This Moment had the crowd excited, it was soon time for the main act. The stage was draped in a giant sheet bearing the Black Widow emblem, and while Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” played through the PA system, In This Moment took their respective places on stage with lead vocalist Maria Brink, guitarist Chris Howoth, bassist Kent Diimell, and drummer Travis Johnson performing hard rock with a sexy edge that appealed to everyone present; their new material particularly resonated well.

Motionless In White

As soon as the white curtain was pulled away from the stage, energy instantly spiked. The band was ready to rock – and did! Opening with “Scoring The End Of The World”, their 2022 release “the crowd went wild! Screams and cheers filled the entire venue; lead singer Chris Motionless even donned his trademark steampunk skeleton mic stand, like something out of a video game!

The band continued playing hit after hit as their energy rose. They performed songs both old and new from their latest album; their set ended with them performing “Vendetta.” It was a stunning conclusion to an extraordinary show.

Following In This Moment’s incredible performance, it was time for the headliners. The stage had been prepared with a giant platform in its center; behind was an eerily dark, dreamlike backdrop featuring skulls galore. There was also plenty of pyro being used throughout the evening.

Fans who were fortunate enough to secure tickets for this sold-out show were in for an unforgettable experience. Hand-made signs and Motionless in White (MIW) t-shirts could be found all around the venue; fans donned black makeup and proper MIW attire and were ready and waiting.

Once the lights went out, the crowd went wild! Everyone eagerly anticipated seeing their favorite act emerge onstage – and they didn’t disappoint. Opening with “570”, their area code for Scranton, Pennsylvania, where they live, followed by hits from both of their recent albums as well as some older material!

Fit For A King

On Sunday night, Buffalo RiverWorks played host to The Dark Horizon Tour’s stop in Buffalo – featuring an eclectic blend of Metalcore and Nu metal talent such as co-headliners In This Moment and Motionless in White as co-headliners along with opening acts Fit For A King and From Ashes To New. All brought their A-game and kept the crowd headbanging all night.

Fit For A King was an energetic opener who instantly left an impression. Their explosive performance was breathtaking to witness, from bassist Ryan O’Leary jumping off risers and slamming down notes with his bass guitar to lead singer Ryan Kirby captivating audiences through his harsh vocals and screaming, and Fit For A King keeping up their intensity throughout their song “Vendetta.” The band even called upon some audience surfers during this song!

After a short intermission, the white drape was raised to reveal chaos behind. Giant fans bearing the words CYBERHEX were wheeled onto the stage as frontman Chris Motionless set his steampunk-inspired skeleton mic stand center stage. Their set began with “Slaughterhouse,” the title track from their latest album.

The band then unleashed an impressive barrage of hits, such as “Scars,” “Runaway,” and the unforgettable “Vendetta.” For an explosive finale, Guns N Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” was covered with crowd cheers before everyone filed out covered in confetti – everyone left smiling from ear to ear! From Ashes To New

From Ashes to New provided an incredible opening act at Propst Arena on Friday evening for the Dark Horizon Tour co-headliners, making an impactful debut with their set. Their set was high energy and engaged the audience through impactful songs such as their hit single “Vendetta,” with fans climbing over crowd barriers into circle pits for its performance, keeping the energy high prior to main act performances.

Pennsylvania band Pennsylvania kicked off their performance with an energetic set of rock and rap songs featuring Matt Brandyberry’s clean rap vocals combined with Danny Case’s raw screams to create an exciting sound that appeals to listeners from all backgrounds. Their set featured their most recent material as well as fan favorites from their debut album, Day One.

Motionless in White and Grammy award-nominated act In This Moment kicked off their Co-headlining “The Dark Horizon Tour” on July 8 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, alongside special guests Fit For a King and From Ashes to New.
